About
Brief Introduction
Quick into about myself. I’m Andrew Serra, currently an undergraduate student at Rochester Institute of Technology. My major is Computer Engineering Technology where we learn a lot about hardware design and embedded software.
Here you’ll be able to find how to contact me, projects I have contributed or fully built, my resume, and posts about my learning process of new technologies. I tend to pick up new technologies quite rapidly but a write-up might end up being posted a little later (super busy usually).
Because of my major, I seem as if I’m a super engineering-focused person. That is definitely not true. I started my university life in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Studied Innovation Sciences – Psychology and Technology. As a focus, I was on the robotics track. Here is a link to that program.
I have a passion for design and visualization, to be realistic usability design. Any project that has a new component to it where it either has not been done before or a project to explore the possibility of anything being created is where I want to be. For projects that have any aspect of this, be sure you’ll get a thumbs up from me.
Some specific topics I love to be a part in:
- Local communities
- Motivational technologies
- Non-addictive tech
- Tools for efficiency (not speed, quality)
